BILLY HOULT of Agincourt is arguably the best Pin bowler ever in Ontario and Canada. At 12, he was the youngest player ever in the Metro Toronto Mens Major League, and bowled a perfect game in that league in 1956. At 14, and wearing running shoes, he was the youngest player ever to win the Canadian Bowling Association (C.B.A.) All Events Tournament by winning the Singles competition and placing high in both the Doubles and the Mixed Doubles events. He was the Mens Singles Champion in the annual O.V. Open Ontario Championships in 1964, 1965 and 1970, and is still the only three-time winner of that title. He was also Canadian Mens Singles Champion in 1964, and in 1966 was a member of the Ontario Mens Team that finished second to Manitoba in a final in which both teams topped all existing pinfall records. In 1973 he was also a member of the Ontario Mixed Team Champions. A charter member of the Master Bowlers Association, Billy won four individual tournament titles and in 1968 was Master Bowler of the Year for both Ontario and Canada.
