The CBA year end tournament was the biggest even of the year and, in 1939, George combined with Hall of Famer Charlie Demelis and another of tonight’s inductees, Brock Bailey, to win the team even with another Hall of Famer, Eddie Hawkes’, Karrys Dundas team.

In 1932, George teamed with Tommy Mallon, Andy Hewer, Fred Conant and again Charlie Demelis, to set two records. Their 4297 triple and 1632 single game were the best scores ever bowled. One year later, in 1933, at Olympia Recreation Club, George again teamed with Charlie Demelis and Brock Bailey to raise the three game standard to 4309 and of that total George added a 987 triple.

Hired by the City of Toronto at the age of 15, George ultimately retired in 1958, working ten more years as a customer relations manger for an automobile agency.
