George’s name is the first one, dated 1943, that is listed on the Charles "Red" McQuaker, another Hall of Famer, trophy that is presented to the high average champion in the Metro Toronto Major League. George’s double partners included the legendary Mario Dibble, a Hall of Fame member and the first female bowler, and Pat Maw, who was the CBA singles champion in 1941. Billy Hoult, a youngster at only 16, was a teammate of George Kerr in 1948.

Soon after, at only 42, George passed away, missing the opportunity to display his talents during the busy bowling years to come.
